How much does solar panel cleaning cost in Sydney?
It depends on the number of panels, roof height and pitch, access and how dirty the panels are. Cleaning plans and combined gutter cleans can lower the overall cost. We give free quotes for every job.
How often should solar panels be cleaned in Sydney?
Every 6–12 months for most homes. Coastal homes, homes near trees or main roads, and low-tilt panels often need cleaning every six months.
Do you use pressure washers or chemicals?
No. We use purified water and soft brushes, which is what most panel manufacturers recommend.
Can you stop pigeons nesting under my panels?
Yes. We remove nests and droppings and fit mesh around the edges of the array using clips, without drilling into the panels.
Do I need to be home?
Not usually. As long as we have safe access to the roof and your inverter can be checked if needed, we'll send you before and after photos.
Which areas do you cover?
All of Sydney — from Palm Beach to Camden and Penrith to Cronulla.
Will rain clean my solar panels?
Rain helps with light dust on steep panels, but it doesn't remove bird droppings, salt film or grime — and it can leave dirt lines along the bottom edge of panels.
Do you use a pressure washer?
No. High pressure can damage panel seals and coatings. We use purified water and soft brushes.
Do you have EWP access?
Yes. We use elevated work platforms where roof access isn't practical or safe.
Can you provide safety documentation?
Yes — we can provide SWMS and complete site inductions before work starts.
Can you clean individual owners' panels in a complex?
Yes. We can clean shared systems for the strata or quote individual owners separately.
Does bird mesh damage my solar panels?
No. The mesh is fixed with clips designed to attach to the panel frame without drilling into the panels.
Will it stop pigeons for good?
Properly installed mesh around the whole array stops birds getting underneath. We check for gaps when we do your regular clean.
Do you do electrical testing?
No. We carry out visual checks only. Electrical testing and repairs must be done by a licensed electrician or accredited solar installer, and we'll tell you if we see something they should look at.
Is it cheaper to do both at once?
Usually, yes — doing both in one visit avoids a second call-out and a second safety setup.
